Within the Connected Products unit, you will work on product development of high-tech and intelligent products for the sustainable world of the future. The products come from all the industries that we at AFRY Connected Products are currently working with:

• Defense
• Medical technology
• Industrial technology
• Telecom
• Consumer products
• Automotive

Your workplace can either be at the client’s site or at our office in Solna. You will have the opportunity to experience a variety of assignments and industries without having to change employers!

Qualifications

For this role, we are looking for someone with experience in one or more of the following areas: 
- Electronic design
- PCB layout
- Embedded design
- ASIC / FPGA design
- Cable design

In addition to an academic degree, we expect you to have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written. It is a merit if you have good knowledge of Swedish. We expect you to be residing in Sweden.

Depending on your experience, we hope you are familiar with one or more of the following:
- Digital design, but also analog design and RF are of interest, as well as tools like Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro
- IP design and verification.
- Cabling and preferably tools like Saber ES Designer and/or E3 Zuken.
- Signal and power integrity, simulations, EMC, and preferably tools like ADS, SIwave, HFSS, Hyperlynx.
- HW-near programming.
- Requirements management or system engineering.
- Wireless communication, high-speed links, or similar.
- Troubleshooting, board bring-up, lab work.

Of course, we also place great importance on your personal qualities. As a consultant, it is important that you work independently and are used to taking your own initiatives. Since many assignments involve collaboration with both clients and colleagues, you should also have good social skills and enjoy working in a team.
